Open Access•Lin Zhu, Wenyue Lu et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2026

Introduction Asian Americans are disproportionately affected by chronic hepatitis B (CHB), which is caused by infection with hepatitis B virus (HBV). While adherence to antiviral medication is an effective practical approach to managing CHB and preventing liver cancer, medication adherence rates among Chinese and Vietnamese Americans with CHB, two vulnerable yet understudied populations, remain largely unknown. • The impact of ESG performance on Ofdi mode choice

Open Access•Wei Yuan, Tiantian Cui et al.•ARTICLE•Humanities and Social Sciences…•2025

Guided by community-based participatory research …

    Open Access•Wenyue Lu, Wei Yuan•ARTICLE•SAGE Open•2024

While promoting the high-quality development of foreign trade, digital service trade has also had a complex and far-reaching effect on the wage income gap between urban and rural residents. On the basis of Chinese provincial data from 2009 to 2019, this study uses the fixed effect model and the Difference-in-Differences(DID) model for empirical analysis. The development of digital service trade significantly reduces the wage income gap between ur…

  • Examining the Influencing Factors of Chronic Hepatitis B Monitoring Behaviors among Asian Americans

    Open Access•G X Ma, L Zhu et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Background: Compared to non-Hispanic whites, Asian Americans are 60% more likely to die from the disease. Doctor visitation for chronic hepatitis B (CHB) infection every six months is an effective approach to preventing liver cancer. Methods: This study utilized baseline data from an ongoing randomized controlled clinical trial aimed at improving long-term adherence to CHB monitoring/treatment. Guided by the information-motivation-behavioral skil…
