The largest peak in the distribution of raw amber from the Baltic and the North Sea throughout European history can be identified in the middle of the 1st millennium BC. Raw amber was processed in the amber workshops the Early Iron Age (800–370 BC). This study reveals how these amber workshops can be reliably identified and what their distribution reveals about long-distance exchange systems in Europe. Pohřební aktivity ze starší doby bronzové (přibližně 2200–1700/1650 př. Kr.) byly v Plotištích nad Labem (okr. Hradec Králové) nalezeny na třech místech. Lokalita Plotiště nad Labem A byla zkoumána v šedesátých letech 20. století a bylo zde odkryto celkem 50 hrobů a tři sídlištní objekty s lidskými skelety. In 2017, a luxury bronze bucket was discovered near Kladina village in the Czech Republic. The bucket is dated to the ninth century BCE, and it is a unique artefact, having no parallel in Europe. Stylistically, it is a “transition type” dated between the Late Bronze Age (11 th –10 th century BCE) and the Hallstatt Period (eighth–sixth century BCE).
