La fase Cabuza y el estado Tiwanaku
Se presentan evidencias de la cadena operativa alfarera de la fase Cabuza del valle de Azapa, norte de Chile, detallando materias primas con microscopía óptica ( n = 130) y mineralogía ( n = 40), para ahondar en su relación con el estado altiplánico de Tiwanaku. This paper investigates the possible sources of manganese (Mn) acquisition for the Chinchorro population of Arica, in northern Chile. Sobreingesta de boro durante la época precolombina en las poblaciones de Arica
In some valleys in northern Chile, the natural water reservoirs used for human consumption contain high levels of boron (> 25 mg/L). In local Pre-Colombian populations, this resulted in overexposure which is harmful to human health, causing gastrointestinal and other issues.
