A winery complex uncovered at eṭ-Ṭuweiri, Western Galilee, joins only three published, and several unpublished wineries established in northern Israel in the Roman period. Human Figurines from the Region of Tel Halif in Light of Schematic Representations in the Chalcolithic Cultures of the Southern Levant
This article presents a newly discovered figurine of chalky limestone found at a cave close to Tel Halif in the northern Negev during salvage excavations conducted after the cave was partially looted. The figurine is compared with the corpus of figurines with similar iconographic characteristics. Two exemplars found years earlier at Tel Halif itself are reexamined. A unique Pottery Neolithic context corresponding to the Wadi Rabah culture was found at the multi-layered site of Ein Zippori, Israel. The obsidian assemblages from the Wadi Rabah occupations at Ein Zippori, Israel
A total of 266 obsidian items were found during four seasons of excavation at the Late Prehistoric site of Ein Zippori, Israel. Most of the assemblage was assigned to the Wadi Rabah culture. The obsidian artefacts originated in three Anatolian sources – Cappadocian Göllü Dağ and eastern Anatolian Bingöl A and B. New Light on Long-Distance Ties in the Late Neolithic/Early Chalcolithic Near East
A group of unique vessels found during excavations and surveys at the site of Hagoshrim was tested for mineralogical composition. These were found to be made of chlorite, a mineral occurring in ophiolite rocks. Flaked Stone Discs of the Neolithic and Chalcolithic Periods in the Southern Levant
This paper presents a detailed study of a unique groundstone (henceforth-stone) tool — the flaked stone disc. The study presents the result of an attribute analysis conducted on 703 flaked discs found in stratified contexts during excavations and as surface finds, all from sites in northern Israel. The discs are described in detail and some provisional suggestions regarding their function are discussed
The Tel Bet Yerah Excavations, 1994–1995
This is the final report of the IAA salvage excavations at the tell during 1994–1995, which revealed occupation strata from EB I–EB III and the Hellenistic period. The finds from each period are presented separately, along with observations on the settlement history of the Early Bronze Age in northern Israel.

Grooved Upper Grinding Stones of Saddle Querns in Israel
Grooved upper grinding stones of saddle mills are rare in the southern Levant. The grooves are either hand-grips or are meant to hold a rod used to move the stone back and forth. Two stones with grooves from Tel Tannim are very similar to one from Tell Qasile dated to the Iron Age and to those from Tell Halaf in Mesopotamia where they are the main type, suggesting that this type originated in the north.
