Effectiveness and feasibility of the self-administered and repeated episodic future thinking exercises in smoking cessation
Delay discounting (DD) is associated with smoking behavior and relapses. Episodic future thinking (EFT) is one of the leading interventions shown to reduce DD. The 1-month follow-up study with 60 participants that employed EFT as active intervention and episodic recent thinking (ERT) as control intervention was conducted in participants receiving smoking cessation treatment. Euroscepticism in Turkey
After reviewing the emergence of Turkish euroscepticism in the context of the evolution of Turkey-European-Union relations between 1963 and 1999, the paper analyses party and popular euroscepticism after 1999. The Turkish case appears to confirm the Taggart-Sitter thesis concerning the strategic euroscepticism of opposition parties. The exception of the Kurdish nationalists suggests that strategic euroscepticism does not apply to ethnic minority …

Ayak bileği yedi kemikten oluşur ve tarsal kemikler olarak adlandırılır. Bilek kısmında yer alan ayak topuğuna calcaneus denir. Topuk kemiği, vücut yükünden gelen ağırlığın büyük bir kısmını taşıyan ayak bileğinin en büyük ve sağlam kemiğidir(1). Topuk kemiğinin üst yüzeyinde (superior) üç ayrı eklem yüzeyi görülür. Bunlar sırasıyla facies artikularis posterior, facies artikularis medial ve facies artikularis anteriordur(2)
The early Upper Paleolithic occupations at Üçağızlı Cave (Hatay, Turkey)
The Lower Pleistocene lithic assemblage from Dursunlu (Konya), central Anatolia, Turkey
Homo erectus leaving Africa a million years ago ought to have passed through the area that is now Turkey, and the authors report a first certain sighting of human activity of this date in a lignite quarry near Konya. The remains of rhino, hippo and horse were found with 135 modified quartz implements in layers dated by palaeomagnetic reversal to between 0.78 and 0.99 million years ago
Os trigonum syndrome in ancient Anatolian settlements
An os trigonum is a small, round bone situated just behind the ankle joint. Clinical research shows that the os trigonum is present in about 5-15 % of normal feet. It occurs when one part of the bone does not fuse with the rest of the talus during growth.
