Dissatisfaction with medical care among women with HIV
Studies have shown that women with HIV/AIDS in the USA are less likely than men to have access to appropriate health care and to utilize services, including the latest antiretroviral drug therapies. One explanation for this underutilization is patient dissatisfaction with medical care. Further analysis (ordac method) of arterial pressures in a general practice
A statistical analysis (ordac) described by Priore (1964) has been applied to the arterial pressures of members of a rural general practice. This method overcomes several of the disadvantages of our earlier analysis (Wilson and Merrett, 1974) of the same data. Systolic and diastolic readings of blood pressure were recorded for 5386 (2585 males and 2801 females) members of a general practice situated in and around Ballycastle, County Antrim.
