Challenges of community-based forest management with local institutional differences between South Korea and Indonesia
This article compares the implementation of community-based forest management (CBFM) practices between South Korea and Indonesia and discusses the political and legal basis of land and natural resources of the two countries. This article examines the extent to which anticorruption agencies in South Korea and Hong Kong have been effective from an institutional perspective. Historically, Hong Kong has been more successful because of a well-devised institutional alignment and political leaders' commitment to fight corruption than South Korea.
