The politics of gender equality
This article analyses the politicization of gender-based violence (GBV) in Spain over two decades. By analysing party manifestos, legislative voting and parliamentary debates, we trace a shift from consensual to conflictual salience. Exploring the relationship of administrative burden with doctors’ motivation and patients’ experience of care
Administrative burden (AB) focuses on citizens’ subjective experiences upon facing administrative tasks as potential public policy beneficiaries. This paper examines the AB experienced by professionals in public healthcare, in this case, by general practitioners (GPs). This article posits that the multi-level governance literature can benefit from administrative burden theory if scholars are interested in understanding under which conditions policy implementation fails.
