  • Does digital economy assist integration of cultural and tourism industries in China? Evidence from spatial and non-linear perspectives

Open Access•Mengyang Hou, Xuehua Cui et al.•ARTICLE•Sustainable Futures•2025•Cited by: 1

  • Fluctuations of Qiangyong glacier in southern Tibetan Plateau over the past 500 years recorded by proglacial lacustrine sediments

Open Access•Run Zhang, Qi Feng et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2024

  • New insights into dating the sediment sequence within a landslide-dammed reservoir on the Chinese Loess Plateau

Open Access•Xiaqing Wang, Zhangdong Jin et al.•ARTICLE•The Holocene•2019

The deposition couplets within the check dams and landslide-dammed reservoirs on the Chinese Loess Plateau (CLP) document the processes and histories of watershed soil erosion, transportation and deposition, related to floods, eco-environment and land use changes, and human activities. Previously, dating the couplets was dominantly dependent on multiple intercomparisons among specific sediment yields of visible couplets, 137 Cs activities distrib…

  • Breakpoint lead-lag analysis of the last deglacial climate change and atmospheric CO2 concentration on global and hemispheric scales

Open Access•Zhi Liu, Shaopeng Huang et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2018

  • The fifth paleosol layer in the southern part of China's Loess Plateau and its environmental significance

Open Access•Jingbo Zhao, Junji Cao et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2014

  • Geochemical records in Holocene lake sediments of northern China

Zhangdong Jin, Xiangdong Li et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2013

  • Geochemical and isotopic characteristics of shallow groundwater within the Lake Qinghai catchment, NE Tibetan Plateau

Jun Xiao, Zhangdong Jin et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2013

  • Interplay between the Westerlies and Asian monsoon recorded in Lake Qinghai sediments since 32 ka

Open Access•Zhaolong An, Zhisheng An et al.•ARTICLE•Scientific Reports•2012

Two atmospheric circulation systems, the mid-latitude Westerlies and the Asian summer monsoon (ASM), play key roles in northern-hemisphere climatic changes. However, the variability of the Westerlies in Asia and their relationship to the ASM remain unclear. Here, we present the longest and highest-resolution drill core from Lake Qinghai on the northeastern Tibetan Plateau (TP), which uniquely records the variability of both the Westerlies and the…

  • Hydrological and solute budgets of Lake Qinghai, the largest lake on the Tibetan Plateau

    Open Access•Zhangdong Jin, Chen-Feng You et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2010

  • The influence and chronological uncertainties of the 8.2 ka cooling event on continental climate records in China

    Open Access•Zhangdong Jin, Jimin Yu et al.•ARTICLE•The Holocene•2007•Cited by: 1•References: 10

A compilation of early-Holocene terrestrial records from lacustrine sediments, ice cores, peat bog, palaeosols, stalagmites and flood sediments from China indicates that the early-Holocene climate was unstable and characterized by at least one centennial-scale (500—200 years) cooling event between 9.0 and 7.6 ka BP. The cold period recorded in different settings has been previously linked to the 8.2 ka event suggested by δ 18 O ice from Greenland…

  • Role of late glacial to mid-Holocene climate in catchment weathering in the central Tibetan Plateau

    Open Access•Zhangdong Jin, Zhang-Dong Jin et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary Research•2005

The lightness ( L *) and concentrations of Rb, Sr and organic carbon ( C org ) have been measured in the age-constrained lake sediment cores recovered from Co Ngoin in the central Tibetan Plateau. Dissolved Sr flux is a dominant control on the variation of Rb/Sr ratios in the sediments. Variations in color and geochemical proxies of Co Ngoin sediments display a continuous history of late glacial to mid-Holocene chemical versus physical weathering…
