BACKGROUND: Exposure to SARS-CoV-2, subsequent development of COVID-19 and death from COVID-19 may vary by occupation, and the risks may be higher for those categorised as 'essential workers'. METHODS: We estimated excess mortality by occupational group and sex separately for each month in 2020 and for the entire 12 months overall. Global surveillance of trends in cancer survival 2000–14 (Concord-3)
BACKGROUND: In 2015, the second cycle of the CONCORD programme established global surveillance of cancer survival as a metric of the effectiveness of health systems and to inform global policy on cancer control.
