Life after death in the context of the stigma of discussing death in Maltese society
This paper forms part of a study of a representative sample of the Maltese population (n = 400) to understand the attitudes of the Maltese population towards death, within a society highly influenced by the Catholic Church. Loneliness is a complex and multifaceted experience resulting from a person's subjective assessment of the gap between their desired and actual social connections. In March 2018, Maltese parliament effectuated a constitutional amendment by which voting rights were conferred on circa. 8,000 younger citizens aged sixteen and seventeen.
