A Theoretical and Empirical Analysis of the Roles of Instructional Leadership, Teacher Collaboration, and Collective Efficacy Beliefs in Support of Student Learning
Principals’ instructional leadership may support the degree to which teachers work together to improve instruction, and together leadership and teacher collaboration may contribute to school effectiveness by strengthening collective efficacy beliefs. We found a significant direct effect of leadership on teacher collaboration. Further, leadership and collaboration predicted collective efficacy beliefs. The Domain and Function of Epistemological Humility in Historical Jesus Studies
The epistemological humility proper to methodological naturalism is the suspension of belief in divine causation, and by entailment, of the belief that events that violate the laws of nature sometimes occur. Epistemological humility does not, however, require the suspension of knowledge of how the world works, i.e., of the laws of nature. This chapter explores the continual adoption of the principles of Discovery into contemporary Australian law. It looks at the overturning of the terra nullius element in the Mabo case in 1992 but also looks at how the Doctrine of Discovery still leaves a legacy in Australian law whereby the rights of indigenous peoples remain unprotected.
