Clinical and demographic characteristics of participants in a hepatitis C treatment trial in rural Kentucky
INTRODUCTION: The advent of curative direct acting antiviral (DAA) drugs to treat those actively infected with the hepatitis C virus (HCV) has allowed for discussion around HCV elimination. Restrictive state-by-state policies for the coverage of DAAs for Medicaid recipients may hamper elimination efforts in the United States by limiting access to these curative treatments. Economic Analysis of Catfish Production in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria
This study examined the economic analysis of catfish production in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. A total of 42 respondents were randomly sampled in the study area. Descriptive statistics was used to identify the socio-economic characteristics of the respondents, constraints faced by fish farmers, and budgetary analysis was used to determined profitability of catfish farm in the area. Optimal Arable Crop Plan and Child Farm Labour Reduction in Rural Households of Ogun State, Nigeria
The study was carried out to model an optimal arable crop plan that minimizes child farm labour use in Ogun State, Nigeria. A multistage sampling technique was used to select a total of 400 rural households from the State. The household survey involves an interview of 594 children, 400 household heads and a focus group discussion section in four locations.
