Prior to joining the Carleton faculty in 1984, he taught at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Australian National University. Currently President of the Canadian Association for Security and Intelligence Studies (CASIS), he is also an economic and political advisor to the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). The author of numerous books and articles, Professor Rudner appears frequently as a radio and television commentator on security matters
