Le rapport entre mobilité et terrain en géographie est interrogé à partir d’une recherche menée sur les migrations de transit au Sahara central. L’articulation entre la spatialité de l’objet et la spatialité du chercheur est envisagée selon deux aspects : la mobilité sur le terrain, entre les sites distincts d’un terrain archipélagique, et la mobilité comme terrain, c’est-à-dire en tant que situation privilégiée d’enquête et d’observation en mouvement, à l’intérieur des flux migratoires, permettant de saisir la nature des événements et des constructions sociales éphémères que tout voyage engendre
