The aim of the current study was to investigate the cross-cultural validity of major hypotheses of Circumplex Model of Marital and Family Systems in Turkish culture. A total of 1613 university students agreed to participate in the study. The effectiveness of the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS; Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet, & Farley, 1988) was investigated with a sample of 340 Turkish university students. Results of exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses showed that the 3-subscale structure of the MSPSS was valid.
