This article analyses the past few centuries of vortical disintegration and reconstitution of Man as a biocultural identity in the EuroWest. I discuss the dangerous rigidity of Man alongside the violence of speciation, focusing on the co-construction of humanity, gender, and Blackness. The following offers a novel approach to critiquing and contesting the chronology of colonial capitalism. By examining the spatio‐temporality of The Vessel—the suicidal shrine to neoliberal development in the heart of New York’s Hudson Yards micropolis—this article illuminates heterodox notions of time, death, and economics. This article examines several aspects of knowledge production among practitioners of 21st century capitalism, critiquing the motivations, funding, methods, and dissemination of today’s politically and economically dominant epistemology.
