Surviving in the margins of a genocide case in the making
In this article, we aim to draw attention to the hopes, frustrations and disillusions that so-called ‘transitional justice’ projects produce in drastically poor, war-torn, historically marginalized but politicized Indigenous communities. Research and Social Action
The starting point for these reflections on the relationship between research and social action is my own experience of nearly 30 years of involvement in both and the experience of the Jesuits in Central America and in other parts of the world. I shall particularly direct my words, which certainly reflect a sinful degree of utopianism, at youth.
