This study explores media framing of the Jackson Water Crisis. The analysis included 381 news stories from local and national online news outlets. The study suggests that while media focused on legislative or federal action overall, focus shifted from legislative and federal action and economic consequences before the water crisis to conflict after the crisis. The Griffin and Lion Ivory Pyxis Lid from the Grave of the Griffin Warrior at Pylos
In 2015, an exquisite ivory pyxis lid was discovered in the grave of the Griffin Warrior at Pylos. The lid, carved in high relief, depicts in great detail a combat in which a lion defeats a griffin. The modeling and carving of the ivory are of exceptional quality. The circumstances of the discovery, stratigraphy, and construction of the grave of the Griffin Warrior were described briefly in 2016 as an introduction to a detailed presentation of the four gold rings found inside it. Here the "life history" of the grave is considered fully. Effects of a psychological and physiotherapeutic intervention on the occurrence of injuries (Efectos de una intervención psicológica y fisioterapeútica sobre la ocurrencia de lesiones)
This study aims to analyse the effects of a psychological intervention focused on motivation and anxiety, in combination with a physiotherapy program, upon the occurrence of injuries. The participants were 22 male soccer players (age = 23.31, SD = 4.24). In 1953 Lord William Taylour directed the excavation of a monumental vaulted tholos tomb known as 'Tholos IV' at the site of ancient Pylos, Messenia, Greece. In 1958 and 1959 Marion Rawson explored medieval remains in the area of the Northeast Gateway in the Early Mycenaean fortifications at the Palace of Nestor. Human‐type blood factors I and i have been investigated in several primate species including man, and in other mammals.
