The paper reports on results of a survey on inclusive education developed for a university. The University Inclusive Education Survey was designed to examine academics’ views on inclusion of a diverse range of students including sexuality and gender, disability, cultural and ethnic diversity and Indigenous Australians. Rurality and intersectionality
Purpose The paper presents a literature review conducted to consider the range and focus of papers applying a stated intersectional framework to rural contexts. An investigation of household preparedness and community connections was undertaken in the NSW Blue Mountains. The research employed a qualitative approach.
