A qualitative exploration of reproductive coercion experiences and perceptions in four geo-culturally diverse sub-Saharan African settings
Reproductive coercion (RC) is any intentional behavior that interferes with another's reproductive decision-making or pregnancy outcome. This study aims to qualitatively examine RC experiences and perceptions among women and men in Ethiopia, Nigeria (Kano and Anambra States), and Uganda. Violence against women from partners and other household members during Covid-19 in Burkina Faso and Kenya
Past-year IPV and household violence against women in Kenya and Burkina Faso were prevalent, and in some cases, intensified during the COVID-19 pandemic. Across settings, help-seeking from formal services was notably low, likely reflecting shame, blame, and stigmatization identified as barriers in pre-COVID literature. Stratified Iron Age House Floors on the Titelberg, Luxembourg
Continued excavations at the center of the hillfort "Titelberg," near Pétange in extreme SW Luxembourg were conducted in 1976–1978 by the University of Missouri at Columbia and the Luxembourg Musées de l' Etat. Underneath the previously dug late Augustan mint foundry were found 14 other floor levels directly in alignment. The stratigraphically lowermost seven floors did not contain the residues of minting operations, but the upper seven, dating f…

The center of the hillfort “Titelberg,” near Petange in extreme SW Luxembourg, was investigated in 1972-74 by the University of Missouri at Columbia and the Luxembourg Musées de l'État. The American excavations have revealed a side street which, when considered with evidence unearthed by the Luxembourgers, indicates an insula system for the hillfort in Gallo-Roman times. Habitation lasted until the 4th century A.C., but this part of the site was …
