Confiscations, public health obstructions, and perpetual displacement
Our findings illustrate how harmful law enforcement practices that target people who use criminalized drugs, particularly those relying on public spaces for survival, persisted during the evolving drug policy periods. Together, these law enforcement practices along with the lack of understanding regarding the shifting Decriminalization Pilot, may have undermined the potential success of a policy dedicated to decriminalizing drug possession in BC

This article examines how mainstream consumer thinking is structured in order to form opinions about consumer rights, government regulation, and individual responsibility in the credit card setting. A broader political ideology-one that intertwines consumption practices with a causal narrative of business, society, and state-infuses consumer opinions. Our research focuses on contemporary young mainstream female achievers (CYMFAs) living in affluent middle class milieus. This article explores the role of (dis)empowerment as a central phenomenon of social class. Experience of power is found to shape self-concept, which affects everyday consumption practices. Occupational Status and a Gradient of Perceived Limitations
This study examined the relationship between occupational status, as measured by the ANU3_2 scale, and selected psychological dispositions. The results, drawn from a sample of 490 subjects across the Sydney metropolitan area, found systematic difference for four dispositions.
