Tumour-like lesions in a Late Bronze Age skeleton from Gonur Depe, Southern Turkmenistan
The article describes tumour-like lesions in a Bronze Age skeleton from Southern Turkmenistan. The combination of pathological manifestations observed in the skeleton does not permit making exact conclusions. Based on the skeletal lesions, malignant bone tumour (chondrosarcoma or parosteal osteosarcoma) seems to be the most feasible diagnosis.
