The Maldives Heritage Survey
The Maldives Heritage Survey was established to document cultural heritage vulnerable to human and environmental threats in the Maldives. An open-access online database is being produced to inform academic studies, support heritage-management plans and create a permanent archive of digital heritage resources

This article analyzes, from the perspective of economic law, the influence of private economic policies (mainly from transnational capital) and international entities on public economic policies, especially those implemented by developing states. It emphasizes the shift of neoliberalism from regulation to deregulation as a demand of private economic powers, identifying among its results the weakening of the State and the disbelief in democracy. Evaluating needle exchange
We employed capture-recapture methods as a strategy for evaluating needle exchange. Needles distributed by the exchange at two time periods were marked with color coded bands indicating the date and site of distribution. Half of the marked needles (2,068/4,239) returned within two weeks of distribution, and 61 percent (2,593/4,239) returned during the study period. The rate of return for stationary exchange sites (63 percent) was greater than tha…
