Widespread impacts to precipitation of the East Palestine Ohio train accident
On 3 February 2023, a Norfolk Southern train derailment occurred in East Palestine, Ohio. The accident and subsequent fire resulted in the emissions of large amounts of hazardous compounds to the ambient atmosphere over many days. The focus of this study is a comparison of Levinson's and Easterlin's hypotheses concerning personal well‐being in adulthood. The analysis examines each author's concerns independently and integrates the two in a broader age, period, and cohort analytical framework.
