Velitrae
Velitrae (modern Velletri) is an ancient town of Latium located 30 km southeast of Rome in the Alban hills by the Via Appia. Ample Proto‐historic finds, primarily from graves, demonstrate activity at the site from the tenth century BCE onwards.
Tomis
The ancient city of Tomis (Tomoi, modern Constanţa, in the Dobruja region of Romania) was founded as a Greek colony, on a peninsula that juts into the Black Sea some 80 km to the south of the Danube delta.
Olbia
Olbia (alternatively Borysthenes; modern Parutino, Ukraine) was among the most important of the ancient Greek Pontic poleis .
Nemi, Lake
Lake Nemi is located in a volcanic crater of the Alban Hills about 25 km southeast of Rome.
Tibur (Tivoli)
Tibur was an ancient city of Latium about 27 km west of Rome. It was located where the Tiburtine Hills meet the Roman Campagna by the falls of the Aniene River, under the modern city of Tivoli.
Fregellae
Fregellae is an ancient town of Latium adiectum located near modern Ceprano (central Italy).
Odessos

Ancient pottery repair has become a topic of growing interest to scholars of Greek and Roman pottery. This particular area of study is part of a larger one devoted to the diverse types of pottery reuse in classical antiquity.
