The role of revolutionary optimism in the treatment of mental illness in the People's Republic of China
Observations made during two recent trips to the People's Republic of China indicate that, as one aspect of their treatment, psychiatric patients are encouraged to feel part of a force larger than themselves—the revolution. They are urged to take an optimistic view of their problems, and to understand and overcome their illness, not only for their own benefit but also for the sake of the revolution

The role of revolutionary optimism in the treatment of mental illness in the People's Republic of China
