High population and fewer opportunities in rural areas, coupled with migration has resulted in an increase of population in urban areas of developing countries like India.Unskilled labour and a low level of education have forced people to resort to street vending for their livelihood.Moreover, street vending does not need high levels of skills and there is also no rental burden.In fact, it has a very low capital requirement.They now make up about…

While the Indigenous youth suicide crisis in Canada is widely acknowledged, there is little scholarly attention given to writers who reflect on this from the perspective of being suicide survivors. In this article, I consider the play, And She Split the Sky in Two , by Aleria McKay, a youth survivor from Six Nations.
