Rescuing Collections from Us
Most of the archaeological collection from Tijeras Pueblo (LA 581) was curated at the Maxwell Museum of Anthropology, University of New Mexico. As was typical of archaeological repositories in the mid- to late twentieth century, the collection was stored in a warehouse, using non-archival materials, with minimal curation records.
