Early Archaic landscape use, cultural transmission, and aggregation in the lower Ohio River valley
In this paper, we use GIS and 2D geometric morphometrics to explore landscape use and social interaction among Kirk Cluster populations in the lower Ohio River valley. Using cultural transmission as a theoretical foundation, we develop models for identifying assemblages produced by macroband aggregations. Modeling Chinese Consumer Responses to a Vignette Television Commercial Drama for a Vacation Resort
This study involved the formulation and testing of a model of Chinese consumers’ cognitive and affective responses to a vignette television commercial drama for a vacation resort area on the South China Sea. Results indicate that response to the commercial was cognitive in nature with perceived homophily, sympathy, beliefs and attitude toward the ad partially mediating the influence of perceived verisimilitude on attitude toward the brand. Validity of anthropometric percent fat prediction equations for use with pregnant women
The purpose of this investigation was to determine the validity of five different skinfold prediction equation for use in forecasting the percent body fat of pregnant women. Twenty‐one pregnant women underwent hydrostatic and skinfold thickness determinations of percent body fat at 6–10, 16, and 28 weeks of gestation.
