Preliminary Cross-Sectional Validation of the CROPS 14-Item for Juvenile Offenders
The Child Report of Posttraumatic Symptoms (CROPS) is an effective 26-item trauma assessment tool. This study provides evidence for the structural validity of the Juvenile Offender Parent Questionnaire, developed by Rose, Glaser, Calhoun, and Bates. Data analysis indicates that the model does have an adequate level of fit, providing cross-validation for the original exploratory model. Clinical implications are also discussed

The present study extends this work by examining the construct validity of scores from the shorter 75-item version of this instrument—the Early Maladaptive Schema Questionnaire-Short Form (J. E.
