Family members’ experiences of supporting black and South Asian women with perinatal mental illness
This paper offers valuable insights into perinatal mental illness for Black and South Asian women from a family perspective. Despite individual experiences being varied and wide-ranging, the suggestions for service improvement were congruent and often repeated, indicating a widespread need for a greater awareness and wider support for the family members of women in perinatal services, who are often struggling themselves
Resources used by young people to overcome mental distress in deprived settings in Latin America
The results show that young people in deprived urban settings in Latin America use a range of resources and activities they consider helpful to overcome mental distress. Policies for improving mental health of young people should consider promoting the most helpful activities and resources. Further research may explore how exactly these resources help to reduce mental distress and how they can be strengthened
Changes in the provision of psychiatric beds and incarceration in the Eastern Mediterranean Region from 1990 to 2022

In our study of 617 schizophrenic patients, we tested the hypothesis that women have a better objective and subjective quality of life than men. Better social integration of women was confirmed. Objective conditions had a significant but quantitatively small impact on satisfaction with specific life domains.
