En contraposición a las teorías tradicionales sobre el lenguaje, este artículo propone que la presencia de Ut pictura poesis textual denota una literatura ilustrativa que se comprende sincrónicamente y, por lo tanto, produce un constructo espaciotemporal. Diablillos y sátira en «El diablo cojuelo» de Vélez de Guevara y «Fausto» de Goethe
Besides the other sources that Goethe used when creating his Faust, in his private texts the author mentions his admiration for Le Diable Boiteux by Alain-René Le Sage. An eighteenth century French translation of El diablo cojeulo by Vélez de Guevara, it was extremely popular in its times. The article compares certain elements in the two works such as the objects satirized in the texts, the use of the 'esperpento', amongst other elements.

Cacao (Theobroma cacao) is a crop of the humid lowland tropics produced largely by small-scale producers and often on farms with a canopy of shade trees. Where a diverse shaded canopy is used, cacao farms support higher levels of biological diversity than most other tropical crops. A host of viral and fungal diseases, loss of soil fertility, and numerous socioeconomic problems facing producers, often makes cacao production locally unsustainable. …
