This paper reports a qualitative study built upon the findings from this team's previous studies over the past two decades that identifies risk factors and guiding principles to develop a culturally sensitive practice model for Chinese youth in conflict with the law. Through a secondary data analysis of administrative data of the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) between 2003 and 2013, we aim to understand the interlocking challenges encountered by newcomers with disabilities in Canada that contribute to this population’s financial hardship. Examining the Psychometrics of the Professional Suitability Scale for Social Work
The aim of this study was to examine the reliability and validity of the Professional Suitability Scale (PSS) for social work. A test–re-test design was used to collect data from social work undergraduate students in Hong Kong (n = 269). The instrument administered was a self-report questionnaire survey.
