Loss in life expectancy (LLE) by socioeconomic position (SEP) is obtained to explore cancer disparities. Often education or income are used to determine SEP. The impact of an unemployment insurance reform on incidence rates of hospitalisation due to alcohol-related disorders
We conclude that the Swedish 2006 unemployment insurance reform generally resulted in increasing incidence rates of hospitalisation due to alcohol-related disorders among unemployed population subgroups known to have higher levels of alcohol consumption

Friendship networks and psychological well-being from late adolescence to young adulthood
The study contributes to the understanding of the direction of associations between friendship networks and psychological well-being from late adolescence to young adulthood by showing that while these dimensions are closely intertwined among males and females alike, females' social relationships seem to be more vulnerable to changes in health status
Stability and variability in income position over time
It was shown that income changes and the time dimension of income are important for self-rated health. Self-rated health responds to decreases in absolute income and lowered rank position in the income distribution to a greater extent than to income gains over time. Lagged lower income position and its associations with health suggest that socio-economic disadvantages accumulate over time
