Exploring how an e-cigarette intervention influenced tobacco smoking behaviour in people accessing homelessness services
For people accessing homelessness support centres, smoking abstinence remains challenging. More intensive support and a variety of approaches to support smoking cessation, particularly those which address the psychosocial factors which hinder smoking abstinence, may be required. Future research should focus on how this can be achieved
Theoretically framing views of people who smoke in understanding what might work to support smoking cessation in coastal communities
An intensive community-based smoking cessation intervention was acceptable to the target population. Adapting the TIDieR checklist as a deductive qualitative analytical framework offered a systematic approach to intervention development. Distance from practice moderates the relationship between patient management involving nurse telephone triage consulting and patient satisfaction with care
The ESTEEM trial was a randomised-controlled trial of telephone triage consultations in general practice. We conducted exploratory analyses on data from 9154 patients from 42 UK general practices who returned a questionnaire containing self-reported ratings of satisfaction with care following a request for a same-day consultation.
