Dating Intimacy as a Function of Age, Sex, and Religion
A study of the dating behaviour of 237 male and 324 female university students showed that while females remain more conservative than males this was only with regard to the deeper forms of intimacy behaviour. There was no evidence to suggest rampant teenage sexuality although petting behaviour was almost universally experienced.
