“Everything has changed
A humanitarian crisis emerged when Hurricane María hit Puerto Rico in 2017, demonstrating the urgency in addressing the needs of older adults and people with access and functional needs. This article examines ethnic joking among young Ashkenazi and Syrian Jewish Mexican men in a Torah class. Jews in Mexico City are participating in social, economic, and political changes at multiple scales.
