Recovery from opioid use on a neuropsychoanalytic service
This is the first report that we are aware of regarding the frequency of recovery from OUD and COT. We have complicated the discussion about what is the best treatment for patients with OUD and patients on COT. Advising that maintenance is the only legitimate treatment for patients who suffer from OUD or who are on COT seems both premature and jeopardizes the ability of treaters to individualize treatment recommendations

The Effects of Low Dose Naltrexone on Opioid Induced Hyperalgesia and Fibromyalgia
Objectives: While opioids temporarily alleviate pain, the overshoot of balancing pain drivers may increase pain, leading to opioid induced hyperalgesia (OIH). Opioid Addiction/Pregnancy and Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS)
This preliminary open-label case series found that pregnant buprenorphine maintained women can stop tobacco. What has sometimes been termed "neonatal opioid abstinence syndrome" may most accurately be termed, "neonatal opioid/tobacco abstinence syndrome." The authors manipulated emotion regulation strategies at encoding and administered explicit and implicit memory tests.
