Exploring the association between Cultural and Linguistic Diversity (Cald) on treatment and outcomes in pancreatic cancer
CALD status was associated with multiple adverse prognostic factors (age, PS, comorbidities), which likely impacted differences in treatment received and challenges analysis of the independent impact of CALD status on outcomes. Notably, however, there were no striking differences by CALD status in treatment delivered or survival outcomes

Irrigation is a potentially effective technology to improve agricultural incomes in Sub-Saharan Africa, and hand powered irrigation pumps have received significant interest and investment as a solution appropriate to small-scale farmers in this context. The impact of recipient choice on aid effectiveness
This study compares the impact of several common development programs (agricultural extension, subsidized agricultural inputs and poultry transfers) to cash transfers equal to the cost of each program. Prior to program delivery, recipients were asked their valuation for each program (i.e., their cash indifference point between cash and the program) as a proxy for their preference between cash and the program. The Short-term Impact of Unconditional Cash Transfers to the Poor
We use a randomized controlled trial to study the response of poor households in rural Kenya to unconditional cash transfers from the NGO GiveDirectly. The transfers differ from other programs in that they are explicitly unconditional, large, and concentrated in time.
