The article proposes that the well-known story of Cormac mac Airt’s judgement concerning the trespassing sheep, which establishes him as the prototypical just ruler, represents an early borrowing from Middle-Eastern narrative tradition, where the same story is associated with the biblical king Solomon

The purpose of this study was to determine if 5th grade teachers’ perceptions of the school counselor’s impact (SCI) would differ from those of classroom teachers who did not collaborate with a school counselor to deliver the Student Success Skills (SSS) classroom program. The Junior Metacognitive Awareness Inventory is a student self-report scale developed to correspond to a two-factor model of metacognition.
