The Onto-Epistemology of Writing Qualitatively
The introduction to this special issue argues that the manuscripts reveal how qualitative research occurs in the writing. The variety of articles in the special issue demonstrate the multifaceted ways that qualitative research can be done. Qualitative research is never neutral and thus writing precedes the research process and plays a crucial role in the constructing the research itself

Drawing from literature, the author argues that scholars in the post-qualitative inquiry field can articulate the nuanced aspects of research rather than rely on rationalistic and propositional expressions

The Promise of the Trans* Body
This article employs the feminist thought of Helene Cixous to explore the liminality of gender. It does so through the story of Maura in the popular television show, Transparent . The article begins with a review of the history of the term "transgender" and links it to Cixous's theory. After explicating Cixous's theory, we "wander" through the character of Maura. Aporetic and Productive Undecidedness of (Data in) Neoliberalism
In diverging from a follow-the-heard idealism that has scholars spinning in paradox, this article opens the possibility that neoliberal data can ground themselves in the reality of being in the world via a search for the immanent other, friend, concept, or practice. Despite efforts to re-establish epistemological order, a litany of fake websites, media misrepresentation, "rumor bombs," hoaxes, fake news, plagiarisms, and fabricated subjects document the emergence of a post-truth era.
