  • An Efficient Route Planning Algorithm for Special Vehicles with Large-Scale Road Network Data

Open Access•Ting Tian, Huijing Wu et al.•ARTICLE•ISPRS International Journal of…•2025

During natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires, or landslides, the timely passage of special vehicles (primarily oversized vehicles) is crucial for successful emergency rescue operations. Efficient route planning algorithms capable of handling large-scale road networks are essential to facilitate this. This paper focuses on the rapid dispatch of special vehicles to their destinations within large-scale national road networks during emergency…

  • Assessment of urban population health resilience guided by cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases

Open Access•Shihao Liu, Haitao Wei et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Impact Assessment…•2023•Referencias: 57

  • Two tales of platform regimes in China’s food-delivery platform economy

Open Access•Haitao Wei, Luyang Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•The Journal of Chinese Sociology•2022•Referencias: 14

This article brings the often-overlooked concept of the labor regime back to the study of China's food-delivery platform workers. Two tales of platform regimes emerge: individualized platform despotism and bureaucratized platform despotism, which apply to crowdsourcing couriers and dedicated delivery couriers, respectively. This study compares these two types of platform regimes in terms of their institutional foundation and labor organization. D…

  • Out-of-phase evolution between summer and winter East Asian monsoons during the Holocene as recorded by Chinese loess deposits

Open Access•Dunsheng Xia, Jia Jia et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary Research•2014

We analyzed climate proxies from loessic-soil sections of the southern Chinese Loess Plateau. The early Holocene paleosol, S0, is 3.2 m thick and contains six sub-soil units. Co-eval soils from the central Loess Plateau are thinner (~ 1 m). Consequently higher-resolution stratigraphic analyses can be made on our new sections and provide more insight into Holocene temporal variation of the East Asian monsoon. Both summer and winter monsoon evoluti…
