Navigating power and silence
This study explores the communication patterns between women in various stages of menopause and their healthcare providers through the lens of the theory of communicative disenfranchisement (TCD). This essay forward the theory of memorable messages (ToMM), a framework useful for examining the messages that individuals remember for long periods of time (i.e., memorable messages) and their influence on identities, beliefs, and behaviors. Sexual Communication & Technology Use in Understudied Relationships
This study investigated how relational distance relates to sexual communication modality for individuals (n = 415) in primarily LGBTQ, BDSM, or polyamorous relationships; and how they utilized technology to communicate about sex.
