Glacial geomorphology of the south Swedish uplands – focus on the spatial distribution of hummock tracts
We present the first comprehensive glacial-landform map of the south Swedish uplands (SSU), deglaciated 15–13 ka ago, using one consistent method and dataset; a Light Detection and Ranging-derived digital elevation model. We present a 1:100,000 scale Quaternary geomorphic map covering 2500 km 2 in Central Sweden and including the Siljan Impact Structure. Late Quaternary glacial chronology on Nevado Illimani, Bolivia, and the implications for paleoclimatic reconstructions across the Andes
10 Be terrestrial cosmogenic nuclide surface exposure ages from moraines on Nevado Illimani, Cordillera Real, Bolivia suggest that glaciers retreated from moraines during the periods 15.5–13.0 ka, 10.0–8.5 ka, and 3.5–2.0 ka.
