Understanding Factors That Influence Success of Home- and Community-Based Services in Keeping Older Adults in Community Settings
Our findings suggest the importance of encouraging older adults to acknowledge their unmet needs and to seek community-based support services early, rather than wait until they have developed more serious needs, such as difficulties in activities of daily living (ADL)

Correlates of Suicide Risk Among Secondary School Students in Cape Town
The aim of this study was to assess correlates of suicide risk in a South African school-based population ( N = 1,157) from three secondary schools in Cape Town. Results indicated that using the Suicide Risk Screen (SRS; Eggert, Herting, & Thompson, 1995) a high rate of learners screened in at possible suicide risk (31.6%). Ethnicity and Problem Behaviors Among Adolescent Females in the United States
Depression, alcohol use, and suicidal behaviors are common problems among adolescents in the United States. Little is known about how these problem behaviors differ among adolescent, multiethnic females. In this descriptive, cross-sectional study, regression analyses were performed to determine differences in these adolescent problem behaviors among multiethnic females using Latinas as the referent group.
