Influence of the pandemic on the mental health of professional workers
Interventions to address the mental health consequences of the pandemic, including their unique gendered and professional dimensions, should consider the intersecting influences and differences revealed through our analysis. In addition to being gender sensitive, interventions need to take into account the unique circumstances of each profession to better respond to the mental health needs of all genders within each professional group

This study demonstrated income assistance (IA) receipt among Aboriginal people living off-reserve using data from the 2012 Aboriginal Peoples Survey (APS), a national survey of First Nations people living off reserve, Métis, and Inuit. This study examines education, employment, and the extent to which adult Aboriginal workers (aged 25-64) were overqualified for their jobs compared to non-Aboriginal workers. Data are from the 2011 National Household Survey (NHS) including 415,115 Aboriginal workers and 13,301,610 non-Aboriginal workers.
