Towards a More Sensitive Assessment of Homelessness
Properties of the Homelessness Severity Scale (HSS) are investigated relative to that of the Personal History Form (PHF), which is based on the McKinney Act definition and criteria for homelessness. Do Patients Want Access to Their Medical Records
Patient access to the medical record has a demonstrated effect on patient satisfaction and the physician-patient relationship. A study of 200 patients attending an outpatient clinic confirmed that most patients would like to receive a copy of their record, while slightly more than half felt there was a relationship between having the record and quality of care. The implications of giving patients a copy of their record is discussed
