  • A study on the mental health and body weight of Chinese college students in the context of Covid-19

Open Access•Shuzhen Ma, Jingzhi Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2026

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the physical and mental health of college students. However, there is a lack of investigation into the psychological state and overweight/obesity prevalence among Chinese college students post-COVID-19. This study aims to provide evidence-based insights to guide mental health and weight management education for university students in China. Data from 4,484 Chinese college students (3,565 men and 91…

  • Response of salt intrusion in a tidal estuary to regional climatic forcing

Open Access•Jinliang Liu, Robert D Hetland et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Research Letters•2024

Salinity distribution in a large tidal estuary is subject to estuarine adjustment under the influences of multiple physical drivers such as freshwater pulses and sea level rise, and is crucial to upstream water quality, aquaculture, and ecosystem functions of the estuary. To better understand the estuarine salinity response to climate change, the unstructured-grid Finite Volume Community Ocean Model was implemented to simulate the salt intrusion …

Open Access•Longjuan Cheng, Bin Xue et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2020

  • The δ 13 C of cellulose from modern plants and its responses to the atmosphere – From the peatland records of Dajiuhu, China

    Open Access•Jinliang Liu, Ye Chen et al.•ARTICLE•The Holocene•2017•Referencias: 3

In this study, the values of δ 13 C in modern plants of the Dajiuhu Basin were determined, and correlation analysis was performed on various climatic factors influencing the values of δ 13 C in plants of this area on a seasonal scale. Results showed that carbon isotopes were fractionated from the collected plants through C3 pathways. Carex argyi and Sphagnum palustre L. are more sensitive to changes in air humidity. As a typical case, the values …
