Celem artykułu jest analiza procesów upowszechniania się i przemian łazienek w prywatnych mieszkaniach w dużych polskich miastach od połowy XX wieku do współczesności, przy użyciu koncepcji udomowienia urządzeń oraz pojęcia reżimu łazienki.
